Who is responsible for your information?

Information we collect
We may collect your name, telephone number, email address, enquiry message, vehicle of interest, contact history and appointment notes. For vehicle valuations, we may also collect the vehicle registration, mileage and condition. Please do not include sensitive personal information in free-text messages.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To answer enquiries, arrange viewings, value vehicles and take steps you request before a possible purchase or sale.
- To manage customer service, maintain accurate records, prevent misuse and follow up an active enquiry where this is necessary for our legitimate interests and does not override your rights.
- To retain information where necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not treat a vehicle enquiry as consent to unrelated direct marketing. We will only send electronic marketing where the law permits it, and you can object at any time.
Where your information comes from
Information normally comes directly from you. If you contact us through another marketplace, advertising platform or referral source, we may add the details supplied there to our CRM. We will provide or direct you to this privacy notice when we first contact you and, where required, within one month.
Who we share it with
We use service providers that host and protect the website and its database. We may also disclose information where legally required, or to professional advisers where necessary. We do not sell customer information.
How long we keep it
Ordinary enquiries are scheduled for review 24 months after collection. We delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed. Some records may be kept longer where a vehicle transaction, complaint, legal obligation or legal claim requires it. The CRM displays a retention-review date to help us apply this policy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer, or object to how it is used. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. We may need to confirm your identity, and normally respond within one month.
Cookies and security
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential technical storage may be used for the secure private portal. We use access controls and restricted administration to protect customer records, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
